Your new organisation is based with a leading provider of therapeutic
residential care for children in Ireland, which is facing great
expansion over the past four years and will be expanding further as
they continue to grow every day. Situated in residential homes
situated in peaceful countryside locations, your new organisation is
excited to welcome new members of staff to their fantastic team.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
Your new role is to work as a member of a residential team to create a
safe and caring environment which meets the individual and group needs
of the young people who live in our homes. You will be working in
accordance with relevant childcare legislation, upholding national
standards and Policies and Procedures as part of a therapeutic
approach in residential care
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
In order to succeed in this role, you will need a Level 7
qualification or above in Social Care or a relevant discipline such
as: Social work, Psychology, Child & Adult Psychotherapy, Social
Sciences, Youth & Community, Teaching and Nursing. In addition, you
will also need an ability to care for and supervise young people, be
adaptable to changing circumstances and expectations, along with a
full clean Driver?s licence.?
